Digital design is like painting except the paint never dries. This means Neville gives similar visual attributes (like concept, composition, textures and colors potential - all that a traditional artwork implies) for digital 2d design and painting, 3d modeling and sculpture, but one is left to mark the difference: the rawness of data, its possibility to give endless forms when editing [by a reversible and infinite potential of editing]. In oil paints, e.g., slower drying makes it possible to work in several sessions, you may blend with surrounding paint, etc but the result stays as it is.
